Taste Budding
A Food Blog
I was a picky eater when I was a kid.
I grew up in the Garden State but never willingly ate a vegetable until I reached high school. I elevated the practice of picky eating to an art.

I created this blog during my tenure with independent cookbook publisher Lake Isle Press, where I made it my business to cook the books.

Seared Scallops With Watercress and Warm Orange Dressing
A simple combination of scallops, watercress, radishes and pineapple with a fresh dressing of blood orange juice, rice vinegar, and maple syrup makes a deliciously elegant seafood salad.
Mexican Sweet Potato and Black Bean Salad
An easy salad that packs a punch: roasted sweet potatoes, black beans, corn, and scallions flavored with coriander, cumin, chili powder, and chipotle-lime dressing.
Grandma’s Peanut Butter Cookies
A classic recipe for a classic treat: crips, light cookies with a delicate peanut butter taste.
